No Way! Fight for your Right!
No, Americans should not be willing to give up our civil liberties in a time of war, not even for the good of the nation. We as Americans have fought too hard to earn this freedom and it should not be stripped away from us due to war. There is a line that the government should not be able to cross. and that starts with our rights. If the government was to take our rights, we would have no say on what happened in the war, and that is just not right. Our own sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, moms, and dads, aunts, and uncles, all fight in the wars. They are the ones being at harms way day in and day out; their families should have a say along with everybody else. It is every body's nation, not just the soldiers who fight in the war. Just because Americans shouldn't give up their rights doesn't make them any less patriotic, yet a more involved patriot.

A Kind Gesture Results in a Final Destination

Rumor has it that we may be in for our first world war. As tensions in Bosnia strengthen, the assassination of the Archduke Francis Ferdinand just makes matter worse. The Archduke earlier cheated a near death experience when a bomb exploded, bounced off a car, and skimmed him, but sadly killed two of his security guards. The Archduke, being a kind and concerned man, went to visit his injured security guards, feeling some guilt because he knew that they wouldn't have been hurt if someone wasn't after him.
However, the Archduke and his wife, Sofia, were both shot on the return trip from the hospital. Sofia was shot first, and shortly after the Archduke Francis Ferdinand was killed as well, uttering his last words 'Sofia!' It is said to believe that the sniper was Gavriol Princip, a 19 year old member of the Black Hand (Serbian terrorist). Although many details on this evil, twisted man are still unclear, one thing is sure: the Archduke made his final destination.
